ABOUT GD GOENKA 2018 CITY MARATHON
G D Goenka is the most coveted international brand of schools. The centre of excellence in Muzaffarnagar is the brainchild of the great philanthropist and social worker, Mr Gopi Chand Goel. The school not only provides facilities and amenities for safe and secure atmosphere but facilitates in developing each child's potential to help in aiming high by making them thinkers, innovators and performers to finally emerge as super stars of not only their own families but the society at large. The school's relentless efforts in community services is praiseworthy.‘Run for Safety’ city Marathon 2018, is the noblest of the initiatives of G D Goenka Public School, Muzaffarnagar, in which each runner will reflect as belonging to vibrant, diverse and global community retaining its local neighbourhood appeal.
The marathon is aimed at spreading awareness in young boys and girls and men and women of Muzaffarnagar and its neighbourhood, the compelling need of transforming Muzaffarnagar into a safe, secure and clean city. The city does need a makeover in terms of thought processes to bring about the desired change.

This Marathon category is open to all the participants above the age of 16 years. All finishers of this race category will be awarded a timing certificate & finisher medal.
10KM
This Marathon category is open to all the participants above the age of 14 years. All finishers of this race category will be awarded a timing certificate & finisher medal.
5KM
This Marathon category is open to all the participants above the age of 12 years. All finishers of this race category will be awarded a timing certificate.
3KM
This Marathon category is open to all the participants above the age of 10 years. All finishers of this race category will be awarded a timing certificate.
