The GDGPS Library is a learning area where students and teachers have access to a wide range of resources in different formats in order to meet their teaching and learning needs. The collection includes books, newspapers, magazines, desktop computers, reference materials, CDs and DVDs.
Students are encouraged to cultivate good reading habits and to use the library as an important center for learning. The school has excellent library facilities with over thousands of books, comprising references, prescribed texts and popular fiction.
The collection and services of the Library are aimed at developing students' reading and research skills thereby helping them use these skills in their subjects. Resources and services are constantly updated to ensure current and relevant material. Reading is important and needs to be developed in the early years of schooling. Keeping this in mind the school has various festivals, displays and activities organized from time to time.
