Valedictory Ceremony of Shri Gopi Chand Commemorative Inter School Competition
The Valedictory Ceremony of ' Shri Gopi Chand Goel Commemorative Inter School Competition' was held on 24th August, 2024. The Ceremony was graced by Shri Anil Kumar Ji Honourable Cabinet Minister of Science and Technology,Government of Uttar Pradesh as the Chief Guest of the Competition. The Ceremony commenced with the floral tribute to 'Late Shri Gopi Chand Goel Ji, the founder of G D Goenka Public School,Muzaffarnagar; a philanthropist, an industrialist and the true inspiration of G D Goenka Family by the Honourable Chief Guest and Revered Dignitaries of the Worthy Management , Distinguished Guests and Respected Principal Ms Bharti Tiwari. On this occasion light was thrown on the life history and political journey of Honourable Chief Guest Shri Anil Kumar Ji. The Prize Distribution Ceremony was conducted to honor the stupendous excellence and eminence displayed by the winners of the ten events organized within these two days. Most of the prizes were grabbed by three schools- G D Goenka Public School,M G World Vision,and The SD Public School out of seventeen schools of Muzaffarnagar and adjacent districts.Participation of more than five hundred students from seventeen reputed schools from Muzaffarnagar and adjacent districts added an aura to the competition and depicted its successful story.
Honourable Chief Guest Shri Anil Kumar Ji congratulated all the winners and appreciated the efforts of School Administration and Management to provide a plethora to the students to present their musical, dancing, sportive , literary and corporate eminence on a single platform altogether.

Worthy Principal Ms Bharti Tiwari expressed his sincere gratitude to Honourable Chief Guest Shri Anil Kumar Ji for his benign presence from his busy schedule to add an aura to the event and to inspire the students.
She congratulated all the winners and consoled those who did not get any prize by saying that it's the beginning and to have the lesson to move forward. She expressed her utmost thanks to the Worthy Dignitaries of the Managerial Board to provide unwavering support and unbeatable faith. She appreciated the diligence, devotion and determination of her team as without them the success would not have been so great and assured each and everyone to meet next year.

Raksha Bandhan Celebration 2024

Special Assembly on the occasion of Rakshabandhan was conducted by the students of Teresa House at GD GOENKA PUBLIC SCHOOL. The students gave enchanting dance performances and presented melodious songs. A skit on importance and significance of Rakhi on Maharani Karnavati and Badshah Humayun was also portrayed by the students. A small speech was given on significance and importance of Rakshabandhan and how the festival spreads feeling of humanity and love amongst individuals.

78th INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION
78th Independence day was celebrated at GD Goenka Public School, Muzaffarnagar with a lot of enthusiasm to pay tribute to the freedom fighters and martyrs for their supreme sacrifice to make our India independent. The celebration commenced with the welcoming of the honourable guests along with the ‘Flag Hoisting Ceremony’ by the Revered Dignitaries of the Worthy Management and the Principal Ms.Bharti Tiwari followed by the singing of the national anthem.

The Investiture Ceremony at G D Goenka Public School, Muzaffarnagar on August 10, 2024 was a grand and solemn occasion . The event marked  the induction of the new student Council for 2024-25.

The 9th International Yoga Day was celebrated in GD Goenka Public School Muzaffarnagar,Uttar Pradesh.  A total of 493   students from Pre- primary to  Grade 12 actively performed various asanas like Virabhadrasna, Halasana,  Trikonasana, sukhasana etc. under the mentorship of the School Sports Department.The day also encouraged establishing  “Har Aangan Yog” experience amongst the students to reflect a regular meditation practice and foster mental clarity and self awareness, both essential for thriving in a stress-free atmosphere.

International Labour Day

International Labour Day is celebrated on 1st May every year all over the world to acknowledge and reinforce the credentials  attributed to all the workers and to express gratitude for their tireless efforts which greatly contributes to the upliftment  and growth of the Nation.  G.D. Goenka Public School always strives to instill great values and constantly iterates to uphold these values of humanity and dignity of labour in students. These values were very evidently demonstrated by the students as they conducted a special assembly on the International Workers’ Day  A plethora of activities was conducted for the students and they enthusiastically participated in these activities such as Posters Making, Cards expressing gratitude, group singing, skit etc.

World Earth Day

"The environment is of mutual interest to all , it is the one thing all of us share”.

To spread awareness about conserving Earth,

Tagore House organised  a special assembly to celebrate World Earth Day. Message of the Earth Day was beautifully expressed through the song and dance performance. Speech by Kushaj Agnihotri of Class IX sensitised the students to uphold the promise to keep our Earth safe and healthy.

Eid Al-Fitr

Eid, the festival that upholds the spirit of brotherhood, love and secularism, was celebrated with great enthusiasm by the Goenkans tiny-tots

2 New Buses -Pooja

A journey on the right path ensures the destination and to make this journey of students smoother Goenkan family has added two more luxurious Buses to our fleet of buses. They were welcomed with auspicious chant of mantras on 13 April, 2023.

Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Jayanti

"Cultivation of mind should be the ultimate aim of human existence" said by the Chairman of drafting committee of Indian Constitution.  It truly reflects in the Goenkan philosophy. It was quite visible in the program held to commemorate the Birth Anniversary of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar.

Baisakhi

Baisakhi, a landmark harvest festival, was celebrated with fervour and ardour in G D Goenka. In order to mark the significance of this festival, the students presented a message oriented skit which was followed by an energetic dance performance.

Republic Day - 2020

26^th of January is a gala day for every Indian. We celebrate this day as a national festival every year & this year too it was celebrated with pride & patriotism in our school.

Seminars and Workshops

We believe in the fact that learning never stops and that it is an ongoing process that can happen anytime anywhere and at any age and this is the reason behind the regular attendance at several workshops and conferences by Goenkan teachers both within city, nationwide as also international venues. The regular updating and up gradation with whatever is the latest practice or norm helps us to be a fore runner in teaching practices.

School trips

As per Goenkans global education philosophy, we believe in conducting regular tours trips and excursions for students. This includes both national and international to explore unique environments, cultures and adventure. This is also done with the aim of bringing students close to our Indian culture, to develop love for scenic beauty and become environment friendly, give them an insight into different aspects of the world and life at large. The focus is on giving them a chance to explore places and avenues that they would not necessarily otherwise be able to do. It also gives them a chance to observe and interact in a group situation. Skills of adjustment, leadership, teamwork and good communication etc. get interwoven through such tours. The trips will include short day trips as well as overnight ones. The places are liable to change, depending on the needs of the children and the requirement of the syllabus.

Community outreach programs

There are several such programmes undertaken to sensitize students to the real world around, so that they groom themselves in a realistic way and not in a world cut off from harsh realities and that they do not get shocked by the state of affairs when they step out from the cosy confines of the school after they pass out. These programs include cleanliness drive, Joy of giving, tree plantation drive, AIDS awareness drive, shoe collection and distribution drive and many more.
